About Us
Our name originates from coral reefs, often called the “rainforests of the sea”, which forms some of the most diverse ecosystems on earth. They occupy less than 0.1% of the world’s ocean surface, yet they provide a home for 25% of all marine species. Coral reefs deliver ecosystem services to tourism, fisheries and shoreline protection and furthermore support many symbiotic relationships to the various life forms that make these environments their home. However, coral reefs are fragile ecosystems, partly because they are very sensitive to water temperature.
We decided to name our business after the unique, natural, clean Coral Reef environments, because: 
1. We are providing LAUNDRY SERVICES to a wide variety of premium clients (‘ecosystems’) in the Cape Peninsula; which are very dependent on CLEAN, TIMEOUS and QUALITY linen in order to provide in their very demanding operational needs;

2. We are in a SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP with our clients, as our success depends on their successful operations;

3. We need to provide a SUSTAINABLE AND SUCCESSFUL service to our clients and we are therefore required to:

3.1 Have an optimal workable environment for our 200 employees, as we are also in a symbiotic relationship with them (this also means having a very  ‘open door’ working relationship with the Unions representing them);

3.2 Make use of environmentally friendly products and machinery, and

3.3 Utilise sustainable alternative energy (we are not Eskom dependant) to be more carbon friendly.

4. We are ACTIVELY INVOLVED, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in ensuring that this required environment is provided.

CoralClean is located in Stikland on the R300 with easy access to both the N1 and N2 highways. Our operation is approximately 25 minutes drive from the CBD and V&A Waterfront.
